Sponsorship Officer
Find and look after sponsors for CAQ events and programs. Put the proposals together and keep sponsors happy once they are on board.
News Editor
Run the Hoopla news page: decide what gets covered, chase the stories, and keep it going out regularly. Writing help is available.
Live-streaming Officer
Look after the video gear and stream the major events. From CAQ's December 2025 call for volunteers.
Social Media Officer
First point of contact for clubs on social media. Shares member stories and what CAQ is up to. From CAQ's December 2025 call for volunteers.
Grants Officer
Watch for grant opportunities, write the applications, and keep track of acquittals. Works with the Treasurer on how the money is used. From CAQ's December 2025 call for volunteers.
Trophy and Awards Officer
Keep the record of all CAQ trophies and awards, and make sure they are where they need to be for each tournament. Works with the Events Manager. From CAQ's December 2025 call for volunteers.
Membership Officer
Look after the membership database, member details and club affiliation status. Works alongside the Treasurer. From CAQ's December 2025 call for volunteers.
AC head of referees
Look after Association Croquet refereeing across Queensland. Keep the referee list current, arrange referee cover for state tournaments, and be the person clubs ring with a rules question. Works with the coaching and refereeing coordinator on accreditation.
Eire Cup 2027 organiser
Queensland hosts the AC Nationals, Eire Cup and Gold Medal in Brisbane in 2027. A planning committee started in October 2025. This job is the lead organiser: venue, dates, entries, the volunteer roster, and being the person everyone rings.
