Croquet clubs in Brisbane

There are 13 croquet clubs playing across greater Brisbane — 7 north of the river and 6 south, from inner suburbs like New Farm and Auchenflower out to Woody Point and Ipswich. Most clubs run a free come-and-try session most weeks, mallets provided, and every one of them welcomes complete beginners.

If you’re closer to the CBD, McIlwraith (Auchenflower) and Merthyr (New Farm) are the two long-established inner-city clubs. Further north, Toombul, Windsor, Pine Rivers and Eildon cover Nundah through to Woody Point on the Bay. South of the river, East Brisbane, Stephens (Annerley), Graceville and Wynnum spread from the inner south out to the bayside, with Twin Rivers (Eagleby) and Ipswich further out again. Not sure which is closest? Use the postcode search on the full club finder — it’ll show you the nearest ones and their come-and-try times.
