17 -19 May
17 May at Windsor & Eildon for the qualifying blocks.
18 & 19 May at Windsor for the Knockout of 8 and 18 & 19 May at Wynnum for the Plate Blocks.
Players will be seeded the day on the closing day on their World Rankings by the CAQ Selection Committee on 2 May at 5pm. If the player has no world ranking then they will be seeded by current handicap and index. The draws will be published on croquetscores.com at least one day before the competition begins. The list of entrants will be available on this site.
Registration starts at 7.30am
Play Starts at 8am
Hoops will be set at 3 11/16” with an upward tolerance of zero and a downward tolerance of 1/32”
WCF endorsed balls will be used
Format: 4 Round Robin Blocks of 5 players with 19 point, 1.5hr timed games on Saturday at Windsor and Eildon. The top 2 from each block qualify (8) for an XYZW knockout with Best of Three XYZ to begin on Sunday and finish on Monday at Windsor.
The first two XYZ rounds will have a total time limit of four hours to be played on Sunday.
Players who do not qualify to remain in the Championship XYZW enter directly into the Consolation Plate Event to be played at Wynnum Croquet Club, starting on Sunday and finishing on Monday. The Plate Event is played in double Round Robin blocks of 13 point games with a time limit of 1h 15 mins each. The top two players from each block will play a single life knockout.
Prizes and trophies: Men's Singles Championship Trophy, Carmel Donley Plate and badges.

12 - 2pm at Eildon on Friday 16 May
Windsor - Sandwiches are not available for order - bring your own lunch. Morning tea will be available.
Eildon - Sandwiches will be available on Saturday.
Wynnum - Sandwiches will be available at Wynnum on Sunday & Monday.
Video and live streaming may be carried out at the competiton
All players and officials will be given the opportunity to give feedback after the event.
